Account Deletion
We understand that you may want to close your SempreUp account. This page details how to request account deletion, what happens to your information, and what data may be retained after your account is closed. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding.
Warning: Irreversible Operation!
Deleting a SempreUp account is final and permanent. Once the process is complete, it will not be possible to recover your account, your configured monitors, your uptime history, or any other associated data.
1. Step-by-Step Guide to Deletion
If you are certain you want to delete your account, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your SempreUp account to access your main Dashboard.
- Click on your username or avatar in the upper right corner and select Profile (or navigate directly to
/profile). - Scroll to the bottom of the profile page to find the section named Danger Zone or Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation instructions, enter your password, or confirm your intent as prompted to verify the request's security.
- Click the Delete my account permanently button.
2. What happens to your data?
Once your deletion request is confirmed, our systems will initiate the following data disposal processes:
- Immediate Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated, and you will lose access to the dashboard. The monitoring of all your registered sites, ports, and certificates will stop instantly.
- Removal of Personal Data: Personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, hashed password, and phone numbers registered for notifications will be permanently deleted from our active production databases within 30 days.

- Temporary Backups: Residual data in backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being completely overwritten according to our security rotation cycles.
3. Retained Data and its Purpose
In compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations (such as LGPD and GDPR), certain specific data may be retained:
- Anonymized Operational Data: Data generated by past monitoring activities (such as historical availability check results, monitored server HTTP status codes, latency, and response times) will be kept. This data is completely anonymized and cannot be linked or associated with any specific user or personal identifier.
- Training and System Improvement: The anonymized operational data mentioned above is used exclusively for analytical and statistical purposes, training machine learning algorithms for fault detection, and continuously improving the accuracy and reliability of SempreUp.
- Legal or Regulatory Obligations: Data related to financial transactions, invoicing, and security audit logs required by tax or security regulations will be stored for the minimum legal period required by the competent authorities.
